My Voice Action Day 1
Aspirations Framework and My Voice Data Analysis
This full-day session will provide school staff with a thorough introduction to Aspirations, the three Guiding Principles of Aspirations work, and the 8 Conditions. An experienced Aspirations Coach will orient participants to the Aspirations Framework and the underlying convictions of Aspirations work. Participants will learn how to analyze and interpret their My Voice Survey result data in order to get an idea of concerns and trends that emerge from the information. In addition, participants will develop student focus group questions, learn how to conduct focus groups, and ascertain how to identify themes that emerge from the focus group discussions. The Coach will help school staff combine quantitative and qualitative research in order to obtain a thorough understanding of their school's teaching and learning environment. Following this session, participants will have a specific action plan for getting started with Aspirations work in their school based on the voice of their students.
