My Voice Action Day 2
Self-Worth and Active Engagement
This full-day session is designed to provide school staff with an in-depth examination of the Guiding Principles of Self-Worth and Engagement. An Aspirations Coach will help participants understand Self-Worth as emerging from the Conditions of Belonging, Heroes, and Sense of Accomplishment. The study of Engagement will offer participants a deeper understanding of the Conditions of Fun & Excitement, Curiosity & Creativity, and Spirit of Adventure as contributing to a whole-child approach to student participation. The session will continue the work from Day 1 by reflecting on how My Voice data and focus group results relate to the six Conditions that are central to these Day 2 discussions. Participants will work collaboratively to identify concrete action strategies that best address the needs of their school related to these Conditions.
